Raja Ampat, the Debts Expensive Tourism Complete

 Kepulauan Wayag (Fajar/ detikNews)

Quite often tourists willing to pay top dollar to go to the eastern side of Indonesia, specifically to the Raja Ampat Islands. Money spent pays off apparently complete. Comparable with natural beauty.
Raja Ampat is the fraction of Sorong district since 2003. The islands are located in northwestern New Guinea and the bird's head has four major islands namely Misol, Salawati, Bantata and Waigeo. Based on the survey Bakosurtanal in 2011, its population of about 90 thousand people spread over 1884 islands.
In 2011, the number of tourists who come to the Raja Ampat total of approximately 8400 people. 8000 Among these are foreign tourists, mostly from Europe, America and Asia, while the rest of the country travelers. Understandably, for the Raja Ampat tourists to spend in-in the range of 20-30 million dollars.
This figure is obviously expensive. No doubt many people ask, sepadankah money spent by the charm of nature has to offer? Allow AFP represent those who have been to Raja Ampat: worth it.
Raja Ampat offers a complete travel package, which emphasizes aspects of biodiversity both at sea and land with a panoramic view that is so alluring. This region has the most comprehensive biodiversity in the world.
The region has 553 species of coral, with a percentage of the existing 70 per cent in the oceans of the world. In addition, the territorial waters of Raja Ampat has 1432 species of fish, 699 mollusks, 16 species of mammals and one species of fish dugong.
"That's what makes Raja Ampat biodiversity in the world," said the Head of Tourism Raja Ampat, Yusdi Lamatenggo, told AFP on the islands Wayag. This archipelago is one of the many iconic images representing the Raja Ampat.
The full biodiversity that makes the waters of Raja Ampat become a paradise for diver or snorkeler. Beautiful colors of coral or coral reefs under the water, and even can be seen from the ship that came to the surface.
Plus, Raja Ampat is a region at the crossing because the location of whales in the Pacific Ocean lips. "The group crossed over to the pope here in the period from June to October," said Yusdi Raja Ampat, pointing to the sea overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
In addition, Raja Ampat also has a number of underwater species that fall into the category these are rare in the carpet shark, shark or sharks and walking walking.
"Shark walk is unique. He often goes to the fins, not swim like other fish," said Yusdi which has been witnessed walking shark in the waters of Raja Ampat.
That's just an underwater tour. Raja Ampat is talking about is endless due to the region above the surface, this region also presents an equally alluring destinations.
Cluster of islands known as The Four King has karst formations (limestone) which is second to none coupled with the presence of rare birds like the Red Cenderawasih, Cenderawasih Wilson, and Maleo Waego.
"Try to areas which have such a full beauty here. Under good water, on top of it no less beautiful," she said with a smile Yusdi.
As the AFP and the views of another group of journalists met in the islands Wayag, Saturday (06/02/2012). Karst formations of various sizes and shapes scattered and separated by the clear waters.
Moving at medium speed using a boat owned by local residents, we penetrate the crevices of rocks the size of karst islands. Once stuck to the bottom through the view of the clear water, we can see the coral and reefs with the dominance of blue and green.
Much like in the movie The Beach, starring Leonardo Caprio to take on the setting in Phi Phi Island, Thailand. But we are a group of compact say, what we find in the Raja Ampat is more beautiful than what is in the movie.
Just imagine, the composition of karst formations which were combined with the breathtaking underwater beauty of the lure. This blend is offered Raja Ampat.
But that view is merely sporadic because we can only see one at a limestone island with beautiful waters that separate them.
We finally decided to pull over at one of the limestone islands and climb to the top. Not easy to reach the top of the island. With a height of 174 meters, the island is shaped like a cone has a level of about 85 degrees steep and quite slippery.
After a climb like spiderman for 40 minutes, we finally arrived at the top of this limestone island. It's worth to climb. Sentence barrage of complaints when they climb, stop instantly transformed into a cheerful feeling no two.
How not to look at all we could see a series of limestone islands in the clear waters of coral that emits a green color. On the other hand we can look at the walls that fortify the karst as well as a barrier island in the Pacific Ocean paradise.
Unfortunately, the beauty of Raja Ampat Islands Wayag it is not supported in the color of the sky that day. Weather cloudy with rain drizzling coincidence.
About half an hour at the top of the hill, we went back down to the bottom. The trip down was much more difficult because of the slope of a limestone hill that is so extreme. Arriving at the edge of a limestone hill, we took a plunge and a refined taste of the clear waters of beautiful coral color underneath.
A sprinkling of white sand on every island chalk in front of us as we get closer to the waving there. Unfortunately we could not linger. One local resident said in those waters there is a poisonous stingray. While we plunge off the cuff with just bare feet.
We decided to go back to the boat and docked to the KRI Banjarmasin - where we were staying for the reporters to follow the Ministry of Rural Development (Ministry are) with the theme of Expo 2012 Cruising Raja Ampat - parked in front of the entrance to the islands Wayag.
Edon, one local resident said he had been guiding tourists coming to Malaysia Raja Ampat. Once the tourists come to the surface after a dive in the waters Wayag, he says "It's heaven that fell to earth."
Well, if you've never seen himself Raja Ampat, the spontaneous remarks of tourists from the neighbor country that it would not seem excessive.

Anak Air mata Berlian Indonesia

 detail berita
